* A very sad, depressing atmosphere.
I worked in the high school for H-International school, part of H-Farm spa. Like many, i lasted less than a year.
* Little to no supplies for all of the high school.
* No support whatsoever from management for new staff and staff new to the IB.
* 50-70% turnover 3 years running, and its not because the tax break because most teachers don't get it.
* The head is very good but his managers are not capable of running a school, a view shared by parents, every teacher, and even the students. They hound and harass teachers, ignore emails, made rude comments when I requested 2 personal days (which I was entitled to by law!), and their lack of organisation, particularly with the DP program, means we all suffer.
* Teachers are treated worse than the students, being shouted at frequently which borders abuse. I seemed to avoid this presumably due to my age and experience and the fact that I told them after 1 week I won't be staying.
* They charge teachers for EVERYTHING.
They wanted 100€ a month for me to jump on the school bus!
