Pros

I absolutely enjoyed working at Grey Alchemy. I was as a digital marketing executive and strategic planner here for 3 years - handling client accounts, brainstorming social media content, copywriting, and creating strategies and pitches. I learned skills in content creation, reporting and managing clients on a daily basis. They gave me plenty of opportunities to learn hands-on, advance my career, and work with well-known clients and interesting projects across different industries. The team is tight-knit, professional, passionate, talented, and a joy to work with. The supervisors, in particular, are supportive and helpful. This is a workplace where everyone around you wants you to succeed and do well. They put a lot of effort in having a creative and relaxed work environment. The office building has great work desks, meeting rooms, and a rooftop for occasional parties. I liked that the fridge was always well-stocked with ice cream, fresh fruits, and drinks. They also provide a free fitness membership and weekly massages for all team members. If you’re looking to work at a digital marketing agency, I can’t recommend Grey Alchemy enough! You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better team, work culture and benefits anywhere.

Cons

It tends to get busy when clients request us to work on campaigns on top of regular content.

Pros

I've been with Grey Alchemy for a solid few years now. Digital marketing and social media are extremely fast paced industries but this agency continues to always stay-on-the-ball with an enthusiastic and proactive ethic. I'm a Digital Marketing Executive which means that I work primarily with clients on planning of marketing activities, copywriting and producing visual content or media. I also look after paid advertising on social media platforms which encompasses campaign planning, budget recommendations, producing ad creatives, executing within a budget, and reporting on performance. The team vibe is a very international one with a mix of nationalities working closely like a family. You really have to stay on your toes but learn a tremendous amount in the process, if you can keep up. Everyone is very busy but are happy to teach and support you when they can. This has definitely enhanced my existing skillset since 2015 and I’ve grown by leaps and bounds while being here. The work environment is modern, functional and cool. Skateboard decks, anime posters and event art decorate the walls. Common areas are pretty awesome, especially the comfy sofas used for smaller internal meetings. The once-a-year company outing on a yacht is something I’ve never had the opportunity to enjoy in my past jobs. For the team, the yacht party is definitely one of the highlights of the year. Working at Grey Alchemy has had its moments, stressful ones, challenging ones and very rewarding ones.

Cons

Digital marketing and social media can be extremely fast paced which will test you at times. You really have to stay on your toes but learn a tremendous amount in the process, if you can keep up.

Pros

1. Work environment & culture – Blessed to be working with a very caring bunch. The office dynamic is also good. 2. Teamwork – The team has a teamwork mindset which allows for us to tackle difficult situations together. 3. Ability to raise concerns – The Marketing Director here is very open to hearing the team's feedback and concerns (if any). 4. Opportunity for growth –The company recognises each individual's efforts and is shown through career advancement opportunities and other company benefits such as weekly Team training

Cons

1. Lack of work/life balance (which has been more noticeable during the WFH period as the boundaries between work and personal time has easily been blurred)
