Leadership is vague and speaks to staff like we aren't the smart and insightful people we are. Benefits are being cut and professional growth here is not good--a lot of raising up of senior leadership and not a lot of raising up of others. Very little direction on goals and strategy and how it relates to the day to day. Org grew too fast and now we're suffering the consequences.

The organization is dealing with some issues that are pretty common in growing non-profits, but they’re worth mentioning. First, they’re losing staff more often than seems ideal. This turnover can really disrupt their work, making it hard to keep projects on track and maintain relationships with donors and partners. It’s a challenge that needs attention because continuity is key in this kind of work. Also, the staff is stretched too thin. They’re ambitious, which is great, but when you’re trying to do too much with too few people, it’s not just the staff that suffers – the quality of the work can take a hit too. They’re in a phase where they’re growing and trying to do more, which is commendable, but it seems like they need to scale up their team to keep up with their own goals.
