Pros

Leaving the business and immediately becoming happier

Cons

Great job if you want to be constantly bullied, belitted and lose all self worth. Senior management have no idea what they're doing. German owners don't have a clue how the badly the business actually runs day to day. Constant issues with cross contamination that are brushed under the carpet. Management ask you to buy stock and leave fake reviews online 0 benefits of any kind as the business is performing that badly .

Pros

Salary gets paid even if they can't pay the other bills

Cons

leadership are completely out of touch with operations, bullies and amateurs. CEO too good to speak to anyone. Marketing manager lives in fantasy land making instagram reels while causing utter chaos for operations, is completely arrogant when on site and has no appreciation for anyone. Lots of gaps in process, Just a matter of time until this place gets closed down.

Poor Leadership and No Clear Direction

Pros

Chocolate Brownies over production/lack of sales leading to freebies for staff

Cons

My experience at Genius was disappointing due to consistently poor management practices. There was a noticeable lack of accountability at all levels—mistakes were often passed around rather than addressed, and there was little ownership of responsibilities. The management team seemed disorganized, with no coherent business strategy or long-term vision communicated to employees. This led to constant shifts in priorities and confusion across departments. Leadership failed to provide clear direction or support, creating a culture where employees were left to figure things out on their own. Feedback and concerns were routinely ignored, and morale suffered as a result. If you're looking for a company with strong leadership and strategic clarity, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
