Pros

Love my supervisor and department I work. I left once for school and came back because I loved it so much. The experience I get at my job I promise will equip me with anything in the future. I love how they have so many departments that you can gain experience in a huge variety of social work fields.

Cons

Pay can always be better.

Pros

Important, impactful, challenging work: end homelessness, overcome trauma, prevent suicide. Flexibility when you need time off. People who work here really care for their clients and the community. Great benefits. When staff and management work together, good things happen. Inclusive.

Cons

Challenging work is hard, but there's intentional focus on resiliency. Adversarial union-management relationship. Benefits and PTO are awesome, but pay, not so much.
