With FP being acquired by TI and merged with NTG many things have changed. It is truly a turn and burn company now. I was a top performing employee for 4 years and every quarter they would change our goals because in my opinion the sales reps were making too much money. Originally, FP was trying to break the mold of a typical 3PL but with new management coming in they plan on being like every other 3PL. Hire huge classes of candidates and work them into the ground and hope a few make it through while dropping everyone else. They used to work off of inbound leads but midway through a quarter they changed to purely cold calling. This wouldn't have been such a huge deal but they provided no aid in leads list but instead told us to google accounts and start calling. Worse than that they provided no information of compensation or goals. Just start smiling and dialing and hope you will be fairly paid. Obviously frustrated by this and one foot out the door I decided to just manage my current book until goals and compensation were clearly stated. After two weeks of this I was told that there was a chance of being fired for my "inactivity". How could you possibly even consider firing someone when there are no goals even set in place? As an employee of 4 years you would assume I would AT LEAST get the remainder of the quarter to get up to speed. On top of all of this, after I left they withheld an entire months commission because it is in their employee handbook that they do not need to pay this. Along with that I attempted to do an exit interview and still have not received any word form HR after multiple times of reaching out. They were very quick to inform me though that my health insurance was inactive.
