      nice people and flexible schedule

      Cons

      Compensation is not competitive. Benefits are fine but not alluring. Management is stretched thin because it is a small company and that stress passes down to employees. New senior management is focused on aggressive expansion in new directions but the size of the teams is not changing which means more stress.

      Pros

      Foundation Source is a good place to build a career. Work flexibility is a big plus. You’re trusted to manage your time and get results without someone looking over your shoulder. There’s been a lot of exciting growth with several acquisitions over the last couple of years, which brought in new perspectives and fresh energy. The future feels promising. The people are dedicated and collaborative. Everyone works hard and is generous with their expertise. To succeed here, you either come in as an expert or are eager to learn from some of the best in the field. The health and medical and other health benefits are comprehensive and well-managed. They are better than my last company- which was a similar industry and size- in both cost and coverages Pros: Excellent health benefits. Flexibility and autonomy. Smart, collaborative teammates. Visible growth and opportunity.

      Cons

      The retirement plan could be stronger, but leadership has steadily improved it each year (doubled the match in my time here!) and has been open about plans to keep doing so. The pace can be fast, and you need to be very proactive to keep up.
