The CEO is downright cruel, there is no other way about it. He enlists VP's that embody the same "lead by fear" mentality. This has by far been the worst job I have ever had for my health. Priorites are non existent, and at the same time constantly changing at the CEO's whim. I guarantee you no one in management has any clue what "Work Life Balance" is. You are screamed at and belittled if you aren't in the office on a holiday or after 5. Take a look at all the recent positive reviews? Notice a pattern? It's a poorly executed marketing ploy after significant lay-offs and consistently unhappy employees. They're going under fast- RUN.

There is a culture issue that needs to be worked out and it starts at the top with the CEO. He works very hard and at times he is kind. The problem is at the drop of the hat he can be disrespectful/degrading. For that reason, I would find myself on guard when he was around because I didn't know what I was going to get. Often in meetings someone would be speaking (in turn) and he would interrupt them by saying "stop talking. I am the CEO." or "shut up, shut up, shut up." This is a problem many employees have been facing and it is burning some people out.
