Pros

90% of the employees are really good, employees come to work because of these people. Operations and Fun team tries creating some fun activities. Lot of employees care about each other(but this is changing)

Cons

Lots of reviews for the past few months have the same common theme - weird relationships between employees and certain higher ups, favoritism, incompetency of the leadership team, micro management, narcissism and down right bad behavior, I feel sad to say but this is all true. If you are a person who doesn't care and just wants a job, you will be fine till the tables get turned on you, if you are your managers favorite you will be treated exceptionally well but if you are a hardworking person with a voice who wants the best for their career and company then this is NOT a place for you. Favoritism is rampant in some teams, which is causing a friction between employees, lots of companies have leaders going out for team lunches/drinks, fun activities but here at Formfire certain leaders go out with their favorites for beers, lunches, dinners. Mind you they go out with the same favorites so there is no business discussions involved, its not like others want to go out but right now they don't even try to hide who their favorites are. Your ideas, innovations and opinions will be shut down by "we will discuss this offline" or "good feedback we will get back to you". Within a year a same set of leaders got promoted almost 3 times, one from manager-director to VP, the other from director-vp- C level, while NO ONE from worker bees got anything(this itself tells you what is going on over here). Employees being mocked and insulted is far too common. Some members of the leadership team have no clue what the vision and roadmap is in spite of being here forever. Right now employees have two main jobs 1. to do their work keeping heads down 2. try to impress these bosses and CTO so employees don't lose their jobs. This has been causing the innovations to die and bad practices to gain. For the past 3 years they have been saying they are researching salaries and reviews will be done accordingly, well we might find life on Venus easily but this research will still be ongoing with people only getting cost of living raises(if any). One of the VP's has been trying hard for years to bring down coffee expense :) There is absolutely no promotions unless you are the leadership team(this might change with favorites getting what they want). Oh and there is 1 manager for every 2 employee, they ran out of private office space so I guess they have to build more private cabins first. To All Employees: Speak up when you see weird things happening, we all know it wont be easy to talk to CEO, go talk to each other, write letters to CEO or even add reviews here on Glass door, once the Targeted employees are gone they will come after you for sure.

Cons

Working for FormFire used to be great but not anymore. Bunch of incompetent people are trying to run the company. It used to be employee friendly but now almost every employee fear to speak up. Your job is in risk if you are not in good books of countable individuals. No matter how hard working you are and how much you contribute. They have been firing people for last few months for no proper reason. All they have to say is these positions don’t align with their vision. They fired an employee whom they hired couple of months back. So, you can understand how far their vision is… why did they hire if that position is not required? All the people got fired are those who had the guts to speak up against these 2 individuals. So far they have fired people from all departments and there are high chances that they will fire more because they don’t know any other way to make money.

Pros

Friendly employees Name sake unlimited vacations

Cons

No opportunity to grow. Salaries are average Yearly raise barely covers cost of living increase. Recently in light for bad reasons. No one in the leadership team truly deserve to be there. Favoritism is very evident. Cannot handle criticism or productive feedback. No scope for innovation and ideas unless you are one of his favorites.
