Poor mgmt & training

Pros

Benefits - profit sharing and bonuses make up for the lackluster pay.

Cons

Many of the supervisors are not qualified to supervise. Training, by and large, does not exist. All knowledge that is needed for performing your job is expected to be gained outside of company time. Unacceptable!

Pros

True Employee-Ownership (not Esop) - 90% of income is distributed every quarter to employees. • A state-of-the art facility and work environment including a fitness center, yoga classes, pool table, ping pong table and golf simulator • Well-defined career paths • Quarterly profit distributions - bonus paid out in addition to pay • Annual Christmas bonus (5% of W2) • 401k 10% matching contribution • Paid health, dental, life, short-term and long-term disability insurance • Eight paid holidays • Flexible work schedule • Summer hours (l /2 Day Fridays) • Outside pavilion for cookouts and a sport court with basketball and pickleball options

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

Pay is great with quarterly bonuses.

Cons

Work culture. If you want to have work/life balance, this is not the job for you. If you live in a dual income home with children, expect to miss a ton of time with your kids. They will always accept more work than they have the staffing to complete. Coordination between departments is critical to complete jobs as a team, but at excel there is constant finger pointing and distrust between each other. There is little to no effective leadership or manager accountability.
