Pros

Everyone except for the current quality team do not want to work. full stop. So they will all stall and drag their feet at any chance they get. That is the good news unfortunately.

Cons

With a few family members there that also do not want to work- if you propose that they may add a small responsibility to their mommies department - they bundle up and have you fired.

Pros

Diverse work statement from various OEM's, giving opportunities to develop knowledge of specifications, materials, and manufacturing processes. Small company, can get hands on with shop personnel Dynamic environment with plenty to do

Cons

Small companies often come with limited resources and support. Can be relied upon heavily to perform multiple functions, sometimes covering for unfilled positions.

Pros

Some good people to work with.

Cons

There’s so many to list. Let’s start with upper management...horrible. It’s almost as if the owners of the company and our upper management could care less about the employees and turning things around for the better. CEOs change on an almost yearly basis which really messes with company stability and employee morale. It also doesn’t help that there’s multiple people, some of them in management, that are on drugs. There is an extreme lack of communication between management and employees. If you have an office job you can practically do whatever you want, but actual floor employees are treated like they’re lesser than office employees. Benefits are pretty bad. Our insurance is horrible, our 401k is garbage and pay is on the low end compared to other aerospace manufacturers. They absolutely hate investing money back into the business which means there’s always broke machines and falling behind because of it. The only thing they care about is making money for the owners and investors. They want to be an aerospace supplier so badly but they won’t take the necessary steps to get there.
