Nice planning staff but poor management changes

Planning staff and operatives are nice and work hard

Cons

New higher management have come in the past year and divided the place. Creating a clear hierarchy. Pushed great workers out the door replacing them with their mates. Let the workers believe there was a plan in place and we’ll have to suffer before things get better then decided to not go for the Nihe BM contract when it was up for tender after staff suffer for a year. New director is rarely seen and when hes in only speaks to you like a corporate robot. Head of and operations manager havent a clue and arent willing to get to know.

Great colleagues and pay, but toxic management issues

Pros

On the ground team (fabric/M&E/Janitors) are brilliant to work with, if you get a good school it’s a great job. Good pay, set shift patterns and can pick up OT.

Cons

Certain managers made it a very toxic environment. Micromanaging and bullying, you just didn’t know what you were walking into. Constant emails, paperwork galore, checklists for checklists. Management didn’t accept any responsibility blame was always put on the staff.

Good Company, Good benefits, Grow workforce to meet project demands

Cons

Long hours, small teams for size of projects. Lot of Employees in the top roles have been with company 30+ years. Higher positions seem impossible to reach.
