      Run Before It is Too Late

      Pros

      Regular hours, many hands on learning opportunities

      Cons

      While the compensations are the best, the benefits are less. It was painful to ask for time off as if I should feel guilty about leaving for a vacation. It was the most hostile and stressful environment I have worked at. The vendors and suppliers would get to know me very well because of where I worked at. I was expected to finish architectural, interior and civil tasks without a many of details or knowing the existing conditions. It would be the best experience if you want be trained to be invincible.

      Pros

      The team I worked with, everyone was capable of doing amazing work. However, the work environment does not foster anything healthy.

      Cons

      The Cons FAR outweigh any of the Pros. However, I must say, the primary problem is the rich owner who doesn’t understand that people have lives attached to their employment. She hires & fires people randomly and frequently. Why? Most people either leave after a few weeks because they can feel something is really off there. Or, they stay for the money and she eventually fires them. No one lasts longer than a few (2-3yrs). I would go into more detail but read the previous posts from former employees. Any of the posts that say anything positive, Donna made them write it. Anything negative, it’s all true. RUN!

      Pros

      High-end residential projects with very unique and fun design elements. Worked with some of the most talented people.

      Cons

      Small firm but very talented team. Most projects are out of state, so you don't really get to see in real life what you've worked on.
