Pros

Pros: Not a lot until they begin to micromanage you because of false claims while ALSO not informing you about what you are doing wrong on the job.

Cons

Cons: -Thrives on RACIAL PROFILING to blame employees when management falls short on informing their employees immediately on what tasks the building requests to be completed. -Does not accommodate workers who have real life problems outside of work. (I went deaf on the job for two months while I was also in college, then stopped going because I needed to pay rent. ) -Micro manages employees when the building receives complaints, and begins to “nit pick” what you’re doing based on if you LOOK like you’re doing your job. Not if there is any evidence, even pictures of you actually doing it. -fails to put proper cleaning equipment in buildings that need it, then they blame YOU. - Treats white employees better, even if you work just as hard or harder than them. -They will recommend you to eat in the janitors closet if you need to eat and they feel like you don’t “look” like you’re working hard enough

Pros

Flexible schedules for controllers and the ability to work alone if desired.

Cons

I went from feeling greatly appreciated to realizing I was being greatly manipulated. They will tell you how important you are but not pay you what your worth. It doesn’t matter how hard you worked, if you never call off, if you do everything they ask, go above and beyond; they will simply not budge and pay you what you are truly worth! You have to beg for raises and you have to “prove yourself” constantly, and everything you do is NEVER enough! If you’re looking for low pay, no appreciation, manipulation, and disrespect then this is the place for you!! They also think of everyone as “warm bodies”!
