Pros

Sadly, no pros to list which is unfortunate.

Cons

They do not treat their employees with any ounce of respect, the CEO is extremely uncouth and talks poorly of her employees, absolutely no structure or room for growth, and all processes are scattered.

Pros

xScion is a strong place to work if you value autonomy and being trusted to do your job well. Leadership is accessible and genuinely cares about the direction of the company and the people in it. The work itself feels meaningful, where projects tend to be complex and impactful. There’s a lot of opportunity to grow professionally because you’re exposed to high-level client environments and real problem-solving, not just routine tasks. The team is collaborative, and people are willing to step in and help when needed. Flexibility is also a big plus—there’s a good balance between expectations and personal accountability.

Cons

Like many growing companies, processes and structure are still evolving. That can sometimes create inefficiencies or require employees to navigate ambiguity. If you prefer a highly structured, big-company environment with everything fully built out, this may feel a bit dynamic.

Pros

xScion is a niche IT consulting firm based in the DMV area, known for its supportive leadership and talented team of consultants. Under the guidance of the CEO and the CTO, both of whom are approachable and encouraging, the firm creates an environment where consultants thrive. The HR/ talent team is especially friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile for the consultants working at the firm. xScion's strength lies in the talented pool of consultants they employ, for which the CTO deserves special mention. The CEO's commitment to building a positive, collaborative work culture is an example other consulting firms should follow. This culture helped me produce some of my most creative and innovative work during my time at xScion.

Cons

None that I can think of.
