Pros

Small company, so you get to work closely with clients.

Cons

Easy hire, easy fire. If you do anything that the owner doesn't like or disagree with her in anyway, you're out. Saw 3 people in and out of the door within their first month of working there.

This review is dated at this point, and factually incorrect. We have a leadership team that works in part with the CEO to make key decisions, and our hiring/training process is slow and detail-oriented. We want new hires to be assets that fit with our team culture!

Pros

I was a lead designer/developer for this company for about a year. And I look back on it with fond memories... mostly because of the people who work there. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and hard work is recognized and rewarded. The owner is supportive and open to ideas. Communication is great here, and ideas, comments, or concerns are shared openly. It's a small workforce, so that helps. It also allows you to really get to know the people you're working with and feel like part of a "family". Work hours are extremely flexible and even remote work is allowed (at least when I was there). The work culture is very desirable and I worked among some VERY talented people, including the owner who I learned quite a bit from in the way of business strategies. I truly enjoyed my time at this company and am thankful because it was the starting point of a path that has since developed into a very promising and prosperous career for me.

Cons

The pay. I didn't realize how much I was underpaid there until I moved on to a different employer (and doubled my salary). This company is small, so expect a smaller paycheck. In addition, there's little offered in the way of other benefits (healthcare, 401k, etc.) But in exchange, you get a lot of things you won't find in larger companies anymore. The one other thing is the workload... be prepared to work because the staff is small and everyone must pull a lot of weight to keep things going.

Thank you so much for the kind review, and constructive criticism! A lot has changed since 2017. We've done a lot to improve pay and benefits, to take care of our hard-working employees and build a fantastic culture.
