If they do not favour you, there is a risk of being subtly marginalised or excluded from the organisation, often through underhanded means. The expectations placed upon employees are excessive, while reciprocation remains lacking. It often feels that consistent criticism is inevitable, and the management team’s conduct is generally disappointing. Regarding HR, unless you are part of senior management, raising concerns can be an ineffective endeavour, as they tend to show little interest. No matter the evidence you present to support your case, it is frequently disregarded, and prioritisation is consistently given to senior staff.
