Pros
I joined this firm earlier this year and all I can say is WOW! There is so much opportunity here and the firm is open to all sorts of ideas on how to deliver excellent engineering. The firm principals are completely hands-on and no matter how busy they are, I've been able to get what I need to do my job. We recently had a firm wide innovation contest where we were asked to come up with ideas to improve the firm. All I can say is that there are some really smart people here. The winners' ideas were great and we got a chance to see all the entries. What impressed me most is how much people really care about what they do. I haven't met anyone who just shows up to punch time a time card. As for benefits, the firm pays for a week off for everyone between Christmas and New Year's!!! I read some of the other comments about cliques and I haven't noticed it, but that's probably more me than anything. That kind of stuff doesn't bother me and I haven't noticed it getting in the way of doing my job. Overall, this has been a great career move for me.
Cons
I can't think of any cons that would be cautionary in nature. I think the firm has grown quickly over the past few years and is trying to catch up, operationally speaking. That can take time, but given what I've seen, the leadership is working overtime to stay on top of this.
