Pros

50% discount on LEGO sets, "family owned" so no stock market pressure, workload tends to be lighter vs other companies

Cons

For a company that wants to be seen as a "great place to work", they have continuously neglected their employees over the last number of years with a strict push to a 3 day week in the office, and a complete ban on working from abroad or from anywhere other than your place of residence. A lot of thought and effort is put into brand and marketing campaigns claiming employees have freedom to be their own leaders, that diversity & inclusion is fully supported and that play is built into your daily routine when in reality there is a strict top down policy policing how and where employees work. Instead of considering how current talent signals that flexible and remote working is preferred and enhances the companies ability to be truly inclusive, LEGO insist that being in the office is the only way to operate, forcing mothers, young families, and attractive talent out of the business. In order to grow the London office space to accommodate the large number of employees forced back to the physical office, the LEGO group have acquired various disconnected floors across several buildings, many with little to no natural light, with scarce communal offerings resulting in little culture, community or "One Team" spirit. The salary use to be competitive however it does not keep in line with inflation and the decent bonus is not guaranteed. Opportunities to grow and promotions are extremely rare and there are no efforts from the company to create opportunities for their talent, resulting in stagnant and bored teams across the business.
