Stay away from this company! The CEO is extremely abusive to her employees. When I first applied for a job at the Balm I saw the negative reviews and decided to go for it anyway because I figured it couldn’t be as bad as others were making it out to be. Boy, was I wrong. It was worse! Everyone deserves to feel respected and safe at work but unfortunately no one does. The only thing the CEO knows how to do is yell and make you feel worthless. It doesn’t matter how educated or qualified you are, as soon as your honeymoon phase is over, you can expect to be screamed at, talked about, and blamed for the CEO’s incompetence. Also you don’t have any time to work while the CEO is there so expect to stay late every day, I’m talking hours late, and continue work when you get home. I could go on and on about the terrible things that this company does to its employees but I hope the star rating speaks for itself. Don’t work here, it’s not worth it.
