1. Team Spirit: The team spirit is probably the best aspect of working at this company. Most co-workers are very supportive. Only some single individuals are not... probably due to bad pay. 2. Work-Life Balance: Talpa allows for some flexibility in work hours. But it feels like some co-workers are taking advantage of it and sometimes things are not getting done in time... 3. Interesting Work: The company deals with intriguing data from heavy machinery in the mining industry, offering employees exposure to a fascinating field. However, management does not allow space for risky, yet innovative projects.
Cons
1. Work Atmosphere: Management tends to shift blame onto the team rather than reflecting on their own actions, creating a negative work atmosphere. 2. Communication: Poor English proficiency among management poses a significant communication barrier, impacting effective information exchange and understanding. E.g.: CEO told the team, he is proud everybody is working *hardly*. 3. Management: The CEO's lack of integrity, poor communication skills, and questionable decision-making create a lack of trust in leadership. Employees got fired for no unclear reasons. It is even unclear why and whether the terminations were actually legal. It is also very apparent that no hardly anybody in management position is trained in leadership roles. 4. Salary and Benefits: The company provides below-market salaries, does NOT bonus pay, NO inflation adjustments, NOR employee shares. Salary delays and payment issues were also not common and eroded employees confidence. 5. Career Opportunities: The absence of a clear career advancement plan, reliance on external hires for senior roles, and inadequate training for management positions hinder employees' growth and advancement within the company. The offered self-development stipend may not effectively compensate for the lack of structured career progression.
