Pros

This is one of the best environments to build your early-to-mid IT career. Entry level positions are exposed to a myriad of technologies with opportunities to develop skills in just about any area of technology. Mid-level positions are empowered to make decisions and affect change. They even have a facility team that focuses on the electrical and operational side of the business! So you really have a lot of options if you stick around for a while. The job is very fast paced, which can be both a pro and a con, but there is a lot of good talent willing to help and that is what matters. The 90-days of training is very intensive, but if you can keep up, it is worth it to build a broad and solid foundation in data center technologies.

Cons

Since the company is international with a strong presence in the US and Mexico, sometimes new IT positions will require Spanish. The company is growing at a rate that can often seem to move faster than one person can keep up. Middle management strikes a good balance between managing and being a friend that you can count on.

Pros

I absolutely love working for redIT. I can honestly say that I have never been happier at the workplace than I am here. The people are wonderful and supporting. The Management is wise, available, and focused on mentorship. The work itself is challenging, rewarding, and interesting. Opportunities for growth and advancement. Health oriented business that supports a healthy lifestyle. The people are fantastic! Good benefits with matching 401K plans! Flexible regarding school and outside of the work-life commitments. Understanding of Emergencies, changes of lifestyles, and pretty much anything. As the title states, I have grown and improved more in the last year and a half with redIT than I had in the four years I put into my last job. I can now confidently say that this is my career and I can see myself at redIT for a long time!!

Cons

Never run out of work to do (Not really a con but sometimes I feel overwhelmed). Scheduling can sometimes be less than ideal. Inter-department communications, especially with the Mexican side of the company, can be difficult and frustrating at times. Parking sucks at the HQ.
