A good in-between place - Media Buyer re:fuel Employee Review

Fast paced growing company Lots of Media and Marketing platforms to sell to clients and agencies – fits lots of needs in youth marketing space More open accounts than sales people Entrepreneurial spirit with strong market legacy (Alloy Media + Marketing) Group of young, fun employees in NYC office New CEO has really made an impact in last 1.5 years

Lacking enough sales people to tackle all leads and accounts Unorganized historical documentation as our history of work as Alloy Media + Marketing is so robust but difficult to find historical documents as server changed

let me just preface that I am NOT a disgruntled employee by any means and normally I wouldn't even take such time to write a review- I just figured that people should know before signing on the dotted line. If you are a recent College graduate than yes, this COULD be an ok experience for you. It will teach you some really good pointers on Digital, OOH and Experiential platforms that you could use later in life or for your next career move. If you are an experiences Media Sales professional than I would suggest looking at other places to make a statement/mark for your career. The niche audiences they deliver to are a value proposition to other companies that may do the same. Work/Life balance is pretty good.

The point of the Cons is for management to use as a tool to make/improve on things for their company - so here it goes. - sales executives and quite possibly the management are grossly underpaid which should be commensurate on their career experience - completely disjointed executive management - Refuel's media platforms are marked up way too high which decreases the value of them - at this juncture, there is absolutely no career progression in easy to understand verbiage - treat your employees as you'd want them to treat their clients.
