The executive team are the smartest executive team that I have ever worked for. These guys have run tons of successful companies and are using their experience to re-shape the look of e-commerce.
The development team sizes are kept small and the amount of smart people here make it incredibly easy to learn new things and get work to production quicker. We deploy many times every day (A feat that not many companies have accomplished) and are building one of the coolest tech in the industry.
Cons
Since we are a start-up and are trying to figure out who we are as a company, there is a lot of unplanned work and long hours. The fast-paced worked environment doesn't lead to great work-life balance.
This is a great environment for engineers seeking a challenge. Developers here are often working on many different things keeping day to day operations from becoming stale. We are quickly growing to a much larger sized company and as a result the engineers are getting to make decisions which visibly help shape the future of our products!
Also, the culture is very fun and "modern internet" friendly.
Cons
We are still in the earlier phases of large growth - meaning we often have to move fast. The result of this is that we sometimes do not get to spend as much time as we would like to really build out all the bells and whistles in our products that, as engineers, we would like to see.
