Pros

Not everybody will feel this way of course, but I certainly do. Let me explain-since it's a start up and relatively small (60 employees or so) you can't help but feel very connected to the company. In addition to the intimacy, there is a real opportunity to build an empire here and that power is intoxicating to me. Especially if you come from corporate America where every process has already been implemented and every big decision comes top down. This company is like clay. If you are up to the challenge, you can create a legacy that will be felt many years to come. I love it because this innovation and creativity runs like an electric pulse throughout the company culture and inspires many EE"s to give their blood sweat and tears without batting an eye (myself included). So if you are looking to work for a company that is already established, operationally streamlined, or prestigious, then Nucourse isn't your best bet. But if you have a desire to be innovative and form a successful company from the ground up with genius pioneers from the CE industry, then I'm sure you will feel the same way I do. Perks: Club 33 and Disneyland memberships. Monthly team outings. Game rooms. Free food and snacks. Casual dress. PB&J's. Random high Fives. Chili Cook Offs. Bowling leagues. Book clubs. Charity work co-ops. AND Halo lunch hours for the gamers (IT perhaps?) Also the team camaraderie is strong and the talent pool they have acquired is quite impressive, so I have amazing professionals to learn from and laugh with. Life is good....and no I'm not being paid to write this ;)

Cons

Operational growing pains. Redundancy. Compensation for high end level execs isn't as competitive as it would be at a Fortune 500 company (I hear all the directors say they took a pay cut to work here. But they also say it was worth it so I don't know if it's a con really...but I thought I should list it.)

Pros

Customer love. Putting others before themselves. Nick knows when he needs to be outsourcing to his employees for his ideas. He has so many brilliant ideas – it's good to know your limitations.

Cons

I'm not really sure where we're headed right now. business was amazing in 2012 and pretty good in 2013 we'll see
