Pros
- being a start up at heart, nevaly gives each and every employee the freedom to pursue his or her specializations of choice - newly implemented education budget ! :) - booming industry, and a positive business trend. - great team spirit -- it's hard to find a team in which everybody genuinely respects and likes everybody else, but we've got it. It's no surprise that people, once hired, tend to stay. In all my time here, I haven't seen any catty office politics, backstabbing, or any other unethical practices that may plague other companies. - trust-based work, no micromanaging: it's ok to go to the doctor, or work from home because you have a maintenance worker stopping -- so long as you get your work done, nobody is monitoring your daily work. - smart, skilled and empathic management. - some benefits such as discounted public transport tickets, discounts at restaurants and pharmacies, and team events.
Cons
- as other reviewers have said, salaries are not high. It's mitigated to some extent by the high quality of work life and the fun subject matter. - it being a young company, don't expect too many corporate benefits. - if more than one person in recent memory has called you "uptight," this may not be the company for you. - if you're expecting to settle into a comfortable job where you can get by for years doing the same tasks, this is also not the company for you. You will get challenged, and you will be asked for your creative input. - some processes are outdated, especially on the tech front. In general, the tech affinity isn't very high.
