Pros

My original team was awesome to work with (prior to change in leadership) and AU taking over bc the US was outshining then and hitting targets in a couple of years that they couldn't in 10+. ;)

Cons

If you work in the US just know that the AU office will always run point on EVERYTHING... so if they give you hopes of you bringing change or success for the US side of the business...it's not true. There's a lot of favoritism for the teams based out of Australia and constant promotions / raises (while the US team stands idle and tries to hang on). Also plenty of uncomfortable remarks about the US in general from the AU office- "why do you tip people here?" .. "the food is horrible in the US".. even religious remarks since the Utah office is primarily Mormons. It’s sad but true… to be completely honest, I’m quite surprised as to how there’s no lawsuits yet… glad I got out of that toxic environment. Oh and I noticed that HR is now starting to reply to negative comments by spewing stats, recognition and awards to try to debunk these negative comments. Just know that HR was led by incentives to get “high” votes from employees to WIN these awards and stats. There was a lot of prep work and “guidance” (Aka telling us what should be said) in order to get these recognitions. I also remember AU not taking this platform seriously when a US member went to them and told them how important this platform is. They said “Nobody looks at Glassdoor here in AU, so why does it matter?” … funny how they changed their tune. If you’re thinking about working here… please really do your research. I wish I would have listened to my instincts when I first started looking at Glassdoor reviews.

Pros

I had great autonomy to work with my customers and present my customer plans and renewal plans to upper leadership. Low to no interference most of the time.

Cons

I didn't get to travel as much as I wanted.

Pros

Excellent product, Lehi, UT staff, technical support

Cons

Redundant leadership, never know who’s in charge. Redundant processes, constant shifts in focus. Limited investment outside of insurance vertical. “Grow at all costs” strategy from years past coming back to bite org. Too many cooks in the kitchen. No legitimate mechanism for front-line sales to engage with senior leadership.
