Pros

Decent pay. Not much else

Cons

Too many to mention. Management is horrible in this department. Sending mixed messages. No matter what you do it’s wrong. Never satisfied. Always worried about metrics and not customers.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. We are always looking for ways that we can improve and hearing from our employees is an important part of that process. It is unfortunate that your experience has not been positive. It sounds like there are some challenges with change management and new ways of doing things – which is counter to several of our company values. We invite you to submit any additional information to Feedback@nVent.com and we’ll see if we can help the situation. Thanks again – wishing you the best.

Pros

I had a great onboarding experience - my manager was very prepared with a clear and useful onboarding plan. The people have been very welcoming and the company culture is great.

Cons

The company is growing rapidly, which presents natural challenges - but the overall experience has been very positive.

Pros

Great place to work. Very considerate of actual career and life experience rather than focusing on having a degree. Management really cares about your success personally and professionally. Top-notch focus on career development. Cohesive, cooperative teams. Fair base pay for experience, good health benefits, and decent flexibility.

Cons

Your experience will be deeply influenced by which location you work at and position you work in. The company has a good framework for inclusion but in reality there are unchecked local employees who make it very uncomfortable if you can't pass for right wing. Raises are inconsistent and don't seem to be determined by performance ratings. Despite having a good review every cycle, I haven't seen so much as a cost of living adjustment post - promotion.
