Pros

- The technology being developed at n.io is interesting and, if used properly, could be the backbone of some interesting products. - There are definitely some smart people working there, and mostly everyone (who wasn't management/HR) was pleasant to work with. - Compensation was pretty good.

Cons

- Within my first month, at least 4 of my co-workers quit without notice, and sometimes without any other prospects. That's a good indicator of what it's like to work at this company. - You will work long, thankless hours, and still feel unappreciated, as if you could be fired for your first mistake. - Management will treat you as an expendable subordinate. - You will be given very little direction/requirements, yet expected to deliver or else. - The CEO/founders will seem charming and friendly at first, saying all the right things, but you'll hear stories of their wrath around the office. - The technology, although interesting, is really just an abstraction around publicly available APIs and databases. It's powerful, but not as revolutionary as it sounds.

We would encourage anyone interested in learning more about n.io to reach out to any employees on LinkedIn or another social platform or via email. We do our best to be transparent about all that we do. Glassdoor allows frustrated individuals who were terminated for cause an anonymous platform to vent. We are very open about the challenges that come with creating a unique and innovative software. Startups are not for everyone. As a growing company, every employee has had to wear multiple hats and in some cases that makes it obvious who isn't a fit for the entrepreneurial environment we have.

Pros

I love working alongside smart, approachable, friendly people. The culture pushes you to be the best you can be and deliver quality results. The technology is groundbreaking and has real potential to change the world. One of the better environments I've worked in in the past couple of years. I have been working at n.io for just over a year, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Cons

If you're looking for a strict 9-5 job, this may not be the place for you. We have passionate employees who believe in the vision for the future of n.io and will put in extra time or effort to finish their tasks. As startups go, just because you're hired in one area does not mean you won't be helping out in other areas. This can be a lot of fun and a great learning experience, but also may not be for everyone.

Pros

What the reviews say about it being a dynamic, fun environment are true. You are given a lot of license to explore solutions to problems.

Cons

First a few: - the technology isn't all that revolutionary. To summarize it: they are trying to write a programming language. Many of the problems they are solving could be solved much better by developing a few awesome python, golang, etc modules and writing code in one of those well developed dynamic(ish) languages. - the management is terrible Now, onto the main con: n.io management is lying to you already! All (or almost all) of the positive reviews posted here are probably fake. Nobody that I ever worked with felt the way that the reviews say. Note the similarity of the reviews writing style, the fact that they were posted within a few months of each other, and the fact that they basically read like an add for a job. In particular, the following statements are the complete opposite of my time there: - The open door policy really feels "open door." - Questions and concerns don't go unheard. I mean, just read this and try to take it seriously: "Some of the most intelligent, driven, and hardworking people I know. Not to mention funny and kind-hearted, even during chaotic moments" Sure, there are people like that at a company... But everyone? No, this review is a fake, and so are (most) of the others.
