Pros

An opportunity to work for fortune 500 companies at a fraction of what they'll charge for your services.

Cons

Lackluster training that was cut a week short. Pompous instructor that didn't understand that the DOM is a modeled after a Tree data structure (said that you'll never need to understand/use your DSA) Less than 50% of the cohort interviewed with the intended client. Less than 20% of my cohort actually received placement. Was promised interview prep, did not receive interview prep. Managed to procure an interview, once contracted with a company was baited and switched into a role that I wasn't prepared for against my volition. (Fortune 100 company) Zero mentorship Forced into a role that obviously wasn't Junior with expectations of leading a team within a year of joining. Tried to incentivize writing positive reviews of the company with a pointless certification.

Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Disappointed to hear some of your comments. There is a higher charge to the client than you receive, as we are a business, and having you as an employee incurs a number of costs. If you calculate your salary (which we are entirely transparent with from the start of the process), That we pay you to train (you receive a weekly stipend and we cover the Academy costs), then all the additional costs (benefits, pension etc on top of your salary) these do accumulate. The Talent Pool team work with the Academy to arrange midpoint technical mocks which are part of the curriculum and then you will always have a mock interview with my team prior to the interview. Please do get in touch with me directly so I can look into further for you. You can also request a practice interview with my team at any time. You will not always receive an interview during training but that's why Talent Pool exists to make sure we keep working with you to put you forward for opportunities. Our trainers have come from industry and academia and our curriculum has been designed to train you in how the industry is using technology to ensure you get up to speed quickly when you enter the corporate world. We do ask that you leave us Glassdoor reviews but we have no control over whether you make it positive or not, which is why we try to ensure everyone has a positive experience of the program. Please do get in contact directly if you would like to discuss your points in more depth. Kind Regards, Kat Snodgrass Director - Head of Global Talent Pool. ksnodgrass@wileyedge.com

Pros

During my time at mthree, the company underwent significant restructuring, including numerous layoffs and the transition of departing from Wiley. While there were challenges, the mission behind the Hire, Train, Deploy model was strong in theory and gave me a sense of purpose in helping applicants find opportunities. The North America Talent Acquisition team was the highlight of my experience—led by people who genuinely care about their work and the candidates they support. They are what make mthree so great.

Cons

I've witnessed upper management fail to support an employee after a client placed them in a difficult situation. The entire model of mthree is to provide support from beginning to end of the candidate journey. That experience made it clear to me that mthree was not a long-term fit. The sales department has unstable relationships with clients, which directly impacts the quality and consistency of work available to consultants. As a result, those who complete the 8-week training program often find themselves in uncertain positions once their training ends. Additionally, upward mobility is extremely limited due to the company's small size, making it necessary to look elsewhere for steady career growth.
