Great Company - Store Manager max-bone Employee Review

Max-bone cultivates a professional work environment and provides the ability to work alongside some very talented individuals. We carry great, well-made products and our owner/CEO really cares about every item that represents the brand. From the CEO to the part-time sales associates, everyone is a part of the team and treated equally. This is a great company if you have strong opinions and ideas on bettering the business. Your ideas will always be welcomed and appreciated by management and often acted upon. Every employee is always heard. I think we’re on the right path to building something special and disrupting the pet industry.

We are a smaller company so sometimes you have to roll with the punches and everyone is expected to wear many hats. I personally find this very exciting which has allowed me to challenge myself in new areas but I have seen people struggle who don’t know how to manage their time well or work outside of their lane. If you don’t like being challenged then max-bone is probably not the place for you.

Max-bone is by far the best place I've worked. The company is filled with amazing people, who are collaborative, determined, and mission-driven. Our CEO is forward-thinking and is genuinely transparent, engaged, and responsive to feedback. She truly listens to every idea, no matter where it comes from. It's a collaborative work environment, and no two days look the same. There are constantly new projects and initiatives happening and we're always trying to be innovative around the brand, never stuck to what has already been done. In this crazy time, everyone has stayed focused and I'm so proud to be a part of this company and all the good work we are doing. Max-bone took a chance on me and allowed me to prove myself. It has given me exposure to the environment of a true start-up - little procedures and a lot to get done. Some may see that as a huge con, I view it as the opposite. Max-bone has kindly forced me to be accountable, thrive under pressure, and implement a process that will play a part in the company's overall success.
