Pros

- You'll gain a lot of experience in a short period of time simply because you're constantly dealing with new challenges and problems. - Nice colleagues.

Cons

Too many... But here are the main things: - No hybrid or flexible working options. Employees are expected to be at their desks from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, five days a week, even though most of the work could be done from anywhere with a laptop, smartphone, and internet connection. - Only one laptop is shared across the entire office for client other web meetings, so you have to book it in advance and hope nobody else needs it at the same time. As this global company does not provide laptops to employees, many people end up using their personal devices for work. - The internet and Wi-Fi have constant issues. - Employees are expected to install work-related apps on their personal phones. - Stone Age tech stack. Little investment in technology, systems, or employee development. A lot of things are still done manually in Excel. - No employee well-being initiatives whatsoever. - Employees often have to pay for office expenses themselves and then wait to be reimbursed. - Payroll administration lacks accuracy and reliability. Constant mistakes or delayes with salaries, commissions, and other payments. Employees sometimes have to follow up multiple times to get them fixed. - Local offices have no HR, IT, or legal support. If something goes wrong, it's often unclear who you're supposed to contact. - Insanely high staff turnover. - Local managers have very little authority and need approval for even small decisions and expenses. - Promotions into management seem to be based more on how long you've stayed with the company than on leadership skills or competence. - Insane micromanagement from top leadership, affecting everyone from managers to very junior employees. - The company is extremely focused on cutting costs, sometimes at the expense of employees and common sense. - Overall, the business feels like it's being run with practices from the 1980s rather than those of a modern global company.
