Pros
There is no company I worked before that promotes such an individual, self-dependent work environment as mantro does. You are absolutely free, to decide when and how to do things, as long as work is done, nobody will bother you. Making mistakes is encouraged, as long as you learn from them. There is literally no hierarchy (therefore, no way to move up the ladder), teams work perfectly without a team lead, because everybody knows what to do and stuff gets done in an incredible time, by focusing on whats really important. The work of a product designer is to work together with various clients from all sorts of industries on a project basis (1-6 months). Such projects can tackle all phases of the product lifecycle, including ideation, prototyping or scale. In projects, you work together with very diverse colleagues from all over the world. There is no team lead controlling/evaluating your work, which gives you a maximum of responsibility and autonomy. Colleagues are always nice, helpful and always up for a kicker match. If you love to challenge yourself everyday, to think and act individually in interesting projects, with awesome colleagues, this is the right place for you. Cons
If need guidance, training on job, a supervisor with checks/evaluates your work and daily feedback in a highly structured work environment, than this place is not for you. Big companies might offer such an environment. You get help when you ask for it here, but you have to be active by yourself. As it is a open-plan office, it can get loud. More silent rooms, would be useful. The parking situation for cars is usually bad, not many lots available, also the office could be a bit more central.
