Cons
Located in a relatively dangerous area. Crime occurs regularly near mHUB. Negative leadership and culture. Startup atmosphere with inexperienced CEO who subjectively calls the shots. No operations or HR professionals on staff. Would not recommend working with CEO Haven Allen, especially if you are a woman. He can be demanding as well as sexist (e.g., bullying behavior, inappropriate comments, and overall creepy vibe). When I began at mHUB, I was warned about this by professional contacts who knew employees who had left, and it turns out they were right. Political views of leadership and employees are made apparent and are reflected in company culture. High turnover rate, especially among women who work closely with CEO. Many mandatory events required of staff, including many internal happy hours. Work is not particularly enjoyable and, in customary startup fashion, priorities change virtually daily.
