Pros

There are few positive aspects to highlight: - Assistance provided for obtaining a visa to Germany. - Previously, enjoyable Monday breakfasts were offered, although regrettably, they have been discontinued.

Cons

The drawbacks outweigh the advantages significantly: 1. **Underwhelming Development, Especially in Go:** The codebase, available for evaluation in a public library, reflects notably weak development, particularly in the realm of Go. 2. **Limited Trust in Employees and Decision-Making:** There is a pervasive lack of trust in employees, with crucial decisions, including those pertaining to code, centralized within a small group. This hierarchical structure diminishes developers to being mere conduits between team leaders and keyboards. 3. **Lack of Direction and Constant Plan Changes:** The business exhibits a lack of clear direction and strategic goals, leading to frequent shifts in plans. Failures do not result in actionable insights, leaving the organization adrift without learning from mistakes. 4. **Arbitrary Firings for Disloyalty:** Job security is compromised, as individuals not aligned with top management are terminated under questionable pretexts, fostering an environment of fear and uncertainty. 5. Low Salary 6. **Limited Technical Expertise Beyond Company Boundaries:** The technical management's lack of external experience beyond the current company hampers the overall quality of technical solutions. This deficiency not only weakens the product's codebase but also complicates the onboarding process for new team members. I also know that menagement asked for votes on glassdoor. It is possible that the employees were leaving honest feedback, but I think there is a conflict of interest here, as managers asked for feedback on specific dates, which would allow them to track negative feedback and identify employees.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on Glassdoor. We value your insights and apologize if your experience fell short of expectations. Your input is invaluable as we strive to enhance our company. To address your concerns, here are explanations for each point raised: Our track record of success with Go-based microservices, handling billions of daily events, and the widespread adoption of our clean code principles in a publicly available foundation suggests a different perspective from the feedback received. However, your point is valid and could really point out how we should improve. Architectural decisions involve input from team leads and senior developers in guild meetings. We encourage collaboration and ideas from all developers, with significant changes requiring peer consensus. Developers are empowered to drive projects independently, showcasing their skills and building expertise. We maintain a clear product vision while embracing an iterative approach. Regular validation of features through testing and user feedback guides our roadmap, allowing necessary adjustments. We prioritize customer feedback, considering it crucial to our success. We seek individuals whose skills and values align with justtrack’s ethos: go big, move fast, be direct, be justtrack, and have fun. Our commitment goes beyond business growth, prioritizing personal development and rapid advancement for our employees. Many have stayed with us, reflecting shared values and mutual support in our growth journey With our modern compensation management platform, we are reassured that fair salaries are paid according to the industry level that are based on position, skill, and years of experience. Onboarding developers to our complex product is challenging, but we address it with a buddy system and peer reviews. Our architecture follows established patterns, collaborating with AWS architects. We use Golang-based microservices with Kubernetes for cutting-edge data processing, incorporating technologies like Kafka, Flink, Spark, and Druid. Exploring incubating projects like Doris and Paimon keeps us on the forefront of software development. We believe in collaboration and our employees' strengths. We also personally meet key customers monthly to gather direct feedback. Their input, whether improvement ideas from using new features or shifts in priorities, guides our decisions. Once again, thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We are dedicated to fostering an environment where all candidates feel respected and valued throughout the recruitment process. We look forward to the opportunity to address your feedback and work towards making improvements. Regards justtrack Recruiting Team

Pros

There is no pros that i can say.

Cons

Discrimination & Bias: There is a strong culture of favoritism and discrimination, which at times even borders on racism. Career growth and recognition seem to depend more on personal connections rather than merit. Toxic Management & Retaliation: Raising concerns about unfair treatment or company policies often leads to being sidelined, marked, or treated poorly instead of constructive dialogue and resolution. Lack of Diversity in Leadership: All managers are German, which raises serious concerns about inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunities for employees from different backgrounds. Lack of Career Growth: There are limited opportunities for professional development or career advancement unless you are part of the inner circle. Unstable Work Environment: Decisions are often made without transparency, and sudden changes in direction create a chaotic and unpredictable work environment. Low Accountability: Management rarely takes responsibility for poor decisions, often shifting blame onto employees instead. Pay & Benefits: Compensation is not competitive compared to industry standards, and salary increases or promotions are hard to come by.
