Pros

I learned a lot at John St because of the diversity of clients. Most people seem to want to produce great work and are pleasant to work with. They have a positive company culture and their social committee is very active.

Cons

John St changed substantially while I was there and shrunk a lot. There were about 200 people that occupied all 4 floors of their building when I started. There were less than 30 and could fit on one floor when I left. The last few years were tough on John St. There was a lot of turnover, layoffs and multiple leadership changes that happened before and during the pandemic. On top of that, they lost 2 major clients at the end of 2022. John St has lost so many people over the years including their Studio team, which means they now have to outsource almost everything. Sadly, I don't think they have enough internal resources to continue.

Pros

Great place to work. Really loved the people and the environment. Thanks to a friend who got me the job.

Cons

I did think the place was a bit disorganized but for the most part I was happy that it was clean. I did not like the people
