The reality of some roles may differ significantly from the position presented during the recruitment process. Expectations, KPIs and targets are high, but supporting resources, tools and processes do not always evolve at the same pace. Management communication can lack transparency and consistency, making it difficult for employees to understand priorities and expectations. Concerns raised by employees are not always addressed in a meaningful or visible way. There can be significant differences in management style and expectations across teams, resulting in an inconsistent employee experience. Accountability is not always applied consistently across the organisation. Workplace behaviours that negatively impact team culture are not always challenged or addressed. The culture places a strong emphasis on positivity and alignment, which may make it difficult for employees to openly challenge decisions or raise concerns. Frequent changes in direction can create uncertainty and make long-term planning difficult.

Onboarding is very well rounded, it teaches you everything you need to know to be successful as an SDR, from outreach methods, ICP's, lines of questioning and product knowledge. Everybody at iplicit is available to help, you're encouraged to be curious and ask questions. Support is available round every corner and colleagues are happy to help. There is a good tech stack in place, it allows you to have comprehensive information about why you are reaching out to people. As someone who comes from a more manual "dial from your phone" background the systems in place offer great automation, efficiency and feedback opportunities. Colleagues have been extremely welcoming, they are happy to have a chat to get to know you and this is especially great considering the remote work. There are systems in place like Coffee Roulette which give you ample opportunity to meet people outside of your immediate team. Progression opportunities, expectations and KPI's/targets/commission were made clear both during the interview process and onboarding. There have been a lot of sessions to help SDR's get to know each other's different styles better, what we individually see is working and the opportunity to share success stories to better your own work. Also, we've had sessions from senior leadership covering company updates, learning sessions outside of your role (eg.
