innoscripta is my first 'big' working experience in frontend and product development — and it turned out to be even better than I was expecting when applying for this position. - Great HR experience Communication with innoscripta employees was great from the very beginning. At first, I had a pleasant and respectful talk with my manager. At the end of it, I had no questions at all — it felt like I already know everything about the company and its work. After that, I've come through hard, but just skill test, free-answer questionary, and live-coding session with experienced developer. All deadlines for test tasks were reasonable and comfortable. - Comfortable office and remote opportunities I was looking for a full-remote job (I have never worked at the office before), but here I decided to give it a try. Now I still working in the office a full week, even though I already have the opportunity to work remotely — because the office came to be a nice and comfortable place to work with nice people who inspire me. - Friendly community All innoscripta's staff came to be very friendly and helpful. I've come through a great onboarding process. As a newbie, I've never had any problems with any pieces of the company's product that weren't familiar to me — all my colleagues anytime here to help me out without irritation. - Challenging tasks I'm very fond of how my workload was measuredly rising from my first day until now. In the first days, I've had really easy tasks that helped me to get into the working flow. But very fast I've started getting challenging tasks that make me better as a developer on daily basis. - Organized codebase For now, I have worked with three company's major products. I see a nice and organized codebase that's doesn't force me to search for a place that I need for days. It's a significantly better experience than I had in any commercial product I was working with before. - Rapid skill growth I feel constant growth as I work here — I'm constantly getting better with technologies that I already knew when I came here, and I already learned a few technologies that were completely new to me. I see that my skills are growing much faster than even when I was studying full-time. innoscripta's ambiance is conducive to this. - Cross-cultural communication innoscripta's cross-cultural character gives a great joy — developers from Russia working along with their German colleagues in constant communication, as well as remote developers from any other place in the world. Despite different cultures, languages, and time zones, this team proves to be solid, close-knit, and capable of making great products together. - Adaptive approach The working process in innoscripta is constantly changing and improving. The company's top management not only proved to be open to new approaches and working directions but very often is direct initiates such innovations. A connection between the IT department and company's management is very close and constant — that allows reacting quickly to new challenges and setting new goals.
Cons
My colleagues sometimes mentioned as a cons comparatively poor project management and working feedback — however, those weak spots are already fade away as the company's process constantly improves. I joined the team recently, but I already have regular feedback sessions. And I see how new managers who came to the company shortly before me create the necessary order in our common work.
