Stressful environment if your are not up to it

The responsibilities are huge if you get into product management. You'll learn a lot about finance, profit and loss, and being creative.

The problem is compensation. It starts off okay but after you realize how much you're going to have to work, it gets unsatisfactory. The increases take quite a while and so do positons.
