Pros

If I could say anything good about this place is that they hire just about anyone, even if it means breaking the law, at the cost of someone else's job. Keep your current job people or look somewhere else. This place will make you be grateful for the previous jobs you had. They will make you feel good about coming into this company only to throw you in a unorganized, mismanaged, uncontrollable and unbearable environment.

Cons

The pay is awful even as an employee. They fire employees in order to safe money and bring on temporary workers at the cost of your job, After speaking to some warehouse crew members, this company knowingly hires undocumented workers for a very low wage perhaps lower the minimum wage only to fire some of the employees who are legally allowed to work in the U.S. The majority are Spanish speakers and it seems they have begun to replace many of the English speaking workers. I am not sure but hiring these undocumented workers and not conducting e-verification for all employees or performing drug or background checks may be a federal crime. I learned many employees have more than 15 years in this company are not legally allowed to work in the American. I felt discriminated and insulted working here and was fired two weeks after bringing my issues to their attention for a "near miss" on the forklift. However, when a Spanish worker had a near miss it was an accident. There is so much politics here and groups of people that stick together. There is no team work here only who rises to the top, who beats who, and who gets fired first, Every man for himself. I witnessed employees stealing high valued inventory and say it was given to them. I don't know about you but this isn't what America was built up on and this is not how our federal laws intended to be followed.

Pros

Very caring company who balances the needs of the customers with the needs of the employees and the needs of the shareholders. Very approachable management team that are involved with the day to day. People work hard and care about each other.

Cons

The nature of the industry - ups and downs. Sometimes staffing is lean. If the expectation of working hard is a con to you then its a con.

Pros

If you're looking for a wide range of experience and are still young in your career, this is the place to go. This is the perfect place to learn what not to do. It was my first job out of college and because of the lack of staffing and educated employees you'll end up working for multiple departments at once. However, because of that you'll be able to beef up your resume.

Cons

Do not stick to their promises. Was promised a raise 3 times and a bonus 2 times which I never received. They claim to be the top 100 places to work at in Chicago however they cheated. I walked into the marketing department to see they were filling out the applications on behalf of false names and submitting it to CRAIGS in order to get nominated for that award. They want A grade employees for C grade pay. Don't stay at this company long. Very disorganized company, they haven't had a Director of IT in 2 years.
