Pros

The pay is great.

Zero training yet the entire premise of the company's success was placed on the lead generators, who had no idea what they were doing. No support in the case of abusive clients over the phone. Given confusing and difficult advice- "do whatever you can to get the lead" "follow the script exactly". Every call riddled with anxiety and pressure to achieve something that was virtually based on luck given that the lead generators received sporadic, if not negligible, training. Failure to hit KPIs treated as a personal failure instead of the fact that the call list was hospitals and shop fronts.

Work from home - no other pros.

Cons

The worst employer I've ever had. Training was ridiculous and virtually non existant- it mainly consisted of the owner ranting on tangents of unrelated nonsense. Employees are set up to expect certain conditions but reality is vastly different from the picture that is painted for you. Although the job was described as a "safe space" your honesty will not be appreciated, you'll be punished for it. Avoid this job if you value your integrity and peace of mind.

Great pay, flexible work, lots to learn.

Cons

The boss is very abusive, he yells at everyone, gaslights you into thinking if you can’t book, it’s your fault. No ownership of their mistakes. Makes promises he can’t keep and will close for a month around Xmas with barely any notice
