Pros

The people really make iBe unfortunately too many good people are gone or will be leaving soon. The consultants are nice and friendly.

Cons

Italian culture - company seems to forget they are working in London and should adhere to UK Employment Law. Exploitation of a lot of employees, from interns (who are technically classified as 'volunteers') to senior consultants and managers- over worked underpaid and never given recognition for their hard work. No structure, and no consistency - for a company that prides itself on being transparent there is too much cattiness and too many two faced people within senior management, you cannot have a private chat with HR because everything is fed back to the CEO (like living in Orwell's 1984). No integrity - senior management is very quick to throw consultants under the bus with clients. This company is far too archaic to call itself a digital disruptor and for a consultancy the fact that they can't actually seem to deliver solid, honest structure to their own office and practices is a joke. There is a nasty bullying culture in the office stemming from the CEO and filtering down into HR. Nothing is confidential. Ridiculously high attrition rate - around 60-70% which for a small company speaks volumes!

Pros

- Genuinely nice and friendly team that blend swell, has fun and supports each other - They are pursuing many interesting innovation projects, so plenty scope to be involved in leading edge technology development and implementations - lots of opportunities to broaden skills and knowledge of financial services sector for those who want them. - Opportunities to grow your own role in whatever direction you want, as long as you are keen, interested and have an aptitude

Cons

- You need to be a flexible self starter to get ahead, learning is very much on-the-job. If you are looking for a lot of structure and hand-holding, it's probably not the place for you - Depending on project, can be very demanding, long hours and lots of travel - Young company, still learning and mistakes have been made in the mismanagement of a handful of less engaged employees
