Pros

If you like gossip, there's plenty of it! Just try and listen for when you back is turned.

Cons

Never has the difference between a manager and a leader been more clear. The MD likes to think of himself as a suave, charismatic top tier recruiter. Dishing out recruitment advice to his underlings and them gobbling it up gratefully. As far as I can tell, the only thing that qualified him for the job of MD was the fact he married the CEO. Take a look at the photos from any night out at i2i and you can immediately see what makes you successful there. Being young and pretty. As others have said, I've got not a bad word to say about the CEO, a truly talented recruiter who built the business up from scratch. It's a true shame that she's entrusted the running of the day to day of the business to someone clearly unsuited to the position. Others have said that the MD 'couldn't lead a horse to water' and they couldn't be more right. What he can do however, is decide one day that you're his next target, and arbitrarily call you into his office to destroy your confidence and prop up his own. Toe the line and do EXACTLY what he tells you to do, no matter how blatantly incorrect or nonsensical, and you'll do great there! But if you decide you'd rather not call a company every single day until they specifically instruct you to never call again, you'll be treated to 1:1 meetings with incredulous hand waving and exasperated sighs. You will be sold the dream at interview. Told that the team is what makes i2i great, and that they're a family. And that isn't wrong! Nothing brings a team together more than a shared hatred of management. If your personality is slightly different, if you talk too much, talk too little, don't like the right thing, or just don't think exactly the same as the dictatorial management, then you may as well not even try, as they will let you go in your first week without even a thought or second chance. So if you're thinking about joining i2i, don't! Look at their LinkedIn, look how many people have started and left in the last year alone, and realise that THAT many people is simply the sign of a sinking ship.

Pros

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with i2i Recruitment. From the very start, the support I received was second to none. The Associate Director was absolutely incredible, offering personalised, one-to-one training and learning time that not only boosted my confidence but directly contributed to me achieving a promotion within just 4 months. The care and dedication shown made such a difference to my professional growth. What really sets i2i Recruitment apart is the way they value their staff across all departments. The HR and Marketing teams, in particular, were phenomenal. They genuinely prioritised staff morale and wellbeing, frequently introducing thoughtful initiatives to improve work-life balance. They actively sought feedback through questionnaires to ensure everyone’s voice was heard, and it was clear that they truly cared about making the workplace the best it could possibly be. The positive atmosphere at i2i Recruitment was evident and it made going to work every day both enjoyable and rewarding. It’s rare to find a company that invests so much in its people, and I am so grateful to have been part of such a supportive and inspiring team. I would wholeheartedly recommend i2i Recruitment to anyone looking for not just a job, but a place to grow and thrive.

Cons

I was very lucky at i2i and I believe this was down to the team I was surrounded by!
