Pros

New office and some really pleasant people work there. Plenty of jobs available. Some of the brands are successful.

Cons

Having worked at a handful of events companies I will honestly say this is the worst. The CEO is not a pleasant person and that attitude filters down through management. Employees are squeezed and treated with no respect at all. Young staff are brought in way above their depth and costs are trimmed at every opportunity. I would advise all prospective employees to see through the spin machine that is in operation for this company and speak to an employee like me.

Thank you for your review and for taking the time to write- I would like to address your points. Regarding your comments about our CEO, you are entitled to your own opinion however the facts show that 93% of other Glassdoor reviewers support him. Our current employees have also shown their support of i2i and our CEO/leadership team as has been proven in our recent engagement survey the results of which will be communicated very shortly to our business. In the survey there were very specific questions around leadership and whether staff felt respected. Indeed all of the senior leadership of i2i make a big effort to treat our employees with respect and we value them immensely. It appears that i2i was not the best cultural fit for you and I hope you find this in your next role.

Pros

A great office environment, open plan with a 'Google' feel to it. The people socially are fantastic and are looked after when it comes to organised events and activities with a genuine work hard play hard approach. All events appear to be the biggest/leading/most successful in their own industries.

Cons

From the outside, looks great...the events seem to do well but there appear to be only a few real passionate 'events' people in the business. The rest are made up of interns and very young possibly out of their depth kids. Most of these are in the marketing team. Aside from my Brand Manager I'm not entirely sure who works on or cares about my brand due to 'matrix?' set up. I've been at other events companies and this is not an organised approach and very confusing for everyone. Overall it seems very blurry, minimal communication, with no ownership or accountability of any aspect. Decisions are made financially for short term gain rather than long benefit of the show, customers or staff.
