Training & Onboarding: The initial training was brief and left me feeling underprepared for classroom expectations. While the company highlights structured support, my experience felt more ad hoc. Limited Collaboration: Cross-centre communication between educators is minimal, which restricts peer learning and professional development. There is an organisational preference for keeping centre operations siloed. Use of AI in Learning Materials: Some instructional content includes AI-generated visuals, which occasionally contain noticeable errors (e.g., image distortions). Student feedback regarding these materials was discouraged. Personally, I had concerns about the environmental and educational implications of AI use, especially in contexts requiring human judgment and critical thinking. Decided not to mention it, since the initial pushback was so aggressive. Performance Discussions & Compensation: Questions about pay reviews or adjustments related to inflation were not always well received. While compensation was consistent with some market standards, opportunities to discuss progression were limited. Diversity Considerations: While not directly experienced by all, some internal comments and decisions around hiring practices raised questions about inclusivity and equal opportunity.

I have been a principal with the schools for more than two decades. I have seen the schools grow from the small community of teachers that we were at the start. All Principals are also teachers, and we teach together with the team in each school. We have teachers in the schools who are both young and old. We have remained in the school contentedly for many years. Reading reviews on glassdoor, I believe these are the younger teachers who had not found what they were looking for in a career. Our teachers have more than two months of uninterrupted leave a year. I do not take home any work after each class, marking is all done in class with assisted curriculum plans. Teachers work twenty-four hours a week, which is very useful for me as I have children and the elderly to care for. There are few opportunities for upset as each teacher is responsible for her own classes, with my guidance and protection whenever they face difficulties. The teachers who have been teaching with me for many years do exercise high personal responsibility so that we work well as teams. Management are teachers themselves, and we are all friends, with good relationships for decades.

The career path is simple and flat, Teachers will progress to Principals and take own additional responsibilities with a higher remuneration. We still enjoy the same holidays but there is a higher sense of responsibility because we are caring for the team under us. This is expected.
