Pros
- CEO is a real visionary and the mission is very clear for everyone in the company. You always know why we are doing what we are doing, which is not something I can say about previous places - In Warsaw they have some of the best engineers I have ever worked with and overall this really is a decent good place to work if you are willing to put the effort in. - Engineering standards are very high. You get a lot of feedback on your work. - Technically stimulating work. - We are working at the frontier of AI which is exciting, and the company also supports us with tokens/tooling, very AI forward - Company invests in development, many of us changed teams and learned new languages. - Salary is competitive for Warsaw market. - My English improved a lot since I joined. - 2 days per week in the office is a very fair expectation, good balance between focus time at home and seeing the team in person. - Office was a bit small before, we mentioned it and the has been upgrade now it is much more comfortable on office days. - Trips to London for company events are great, well organised and fun. - Team lunches on Wednesdays are really nice.
Cons
- Warsaw office still feels a bit separated from London HQ. Some decisions and informations come late to us, and we need to push to be in the loop. Company is working on this but there is still way to go to make Warsaw feel fully connected - Expectations are high. This is not a place where you can hide and do minimum, you need to really love doing great work. For me this is motivating but for some people maybe it can be too much
