Pros
The best part about working with this company is the contact with my Area manager and members of the corporate office. I think that it is great to be able to communicate within a corporate office directly and quickly. The boutiques are smaller so you are able to maintain it easy and there is a lot of creative freedom.
Cons
The biggest challenges with this job is that as a boutique manager it is hard to manage all the tasks that we are given. We are expected to network, perform operational duties, merchandise the entire store, and constantly coaching and training employees. There need to be more corporate standards and training programs so that everyone Boutique Managers, Assistant Managers, Key Holders, and Boutique Associates are able to hold themselves accountable. There is also no great inventory system so LP can be a bit of a headache at the store.
