Pros

They ask employees to write positive reviews for them and push until they see a few show up. No one is writing fatbuzz a positive review just because they love it so much. No pros from me other than getting a paycheck which is really the bare minimum compensation you deserve for working here.

Cons

If you're thinking of working here, don't. Run for the hills. Unless you're in an absolutely dire emergency and need the income. But even then I'd advise against taking a job here. You'll likely be looking again within 6 to 8 months. This company is like a revolving door. Talent comes in and immediately leaves. There's been an absurdly high staff turnover in recent years which should be your first major red flag. The fact that they also have a pretty low pay scale compared to industry rate, offer the absolute bare minimum for benefits, and a have very flat structure with minimal opportunity for development should be your second red flag. But the biggest red flags are, unfortunately, ones you won't discover until you actually work here. I've had the misfortune of being an employee and found out what they are so that you don't have to. Here's just a few of the things that caused me to leave and try to warn anyone else off of working here: 1. Nepotism 2. Gaslighting 3. Disorganisation 4. Bullying 5. Lying 6. Endangerment of staff 7. Bad pay 8. Minimal benefits 9. Zero flexibility 10. No compassion from management 11. Constant staff turnover 12. No hybrid working because they don't trust you 13. Terrible office space. I hope you like eating at your desk and not seeing daylight for 8 hours a day. 14. Limited career development This list is non-exhaustive. fatbuzz is the worst. They treat you like you're lucky to work for them and like your whole life should revolve around your employment. There's no understanding that you're a human being outside of job and no flexibility for staff who are having a tough time personally. Management will tell you they care. They'll say that your safety and happiness is a top priority for them but then every action they take will show you the opposite. And if you do have an issue, don't bother going to their outsourced HR company because HR Services Scotland is one of fatbuzz's clients and is in the pocket of management. It's a totally inappropriate relationship and an HR company should know that. Do not recommend working here. Would rather be unemployed.

Pros

2pm Friday finish but you'll be so burnt out from the weeks work and dismal office enviroment/bullying that you'll spend this time exhausted or partaking in the rampant office alcohol culture which is concerningly normalised and encouraged

Cons

- family run business who makes their own family problems everyone else's business by having intense and heated arguments infront of staff which leaves everybody feeling incredibly awkward and juvenile - the office is covered in dog hair, dog waste and general grime. women's toilets are often clogged leaving them to queue for toliet and leaving a nasty smell. the whole office is falling apart, constantly freezing even in summer and covered in a thick layer of grime on every surface. it is not the preppy environment they try to give off on their socials. it is falling apart. - management does not know how to lead or how to be respectful to staff. they will talk about you behind your back (which unfortunately always comes back to you as they are often telling each others secrets when they have family arguments) - Low pay, no opportunities for pay increases unless the government raises the minimum wage - director constantly berating staff for his own companies lack of sales despite never listening to constructive criticism or willing to hear any feedback

Pros

You get to work with a wide range of clients and the people there are good fun.

Cons

Very high turnover of staff, management are not very good people managers (more of a dictatorship). They could do with bringing in experienced management staff. No real benefits, statutory sick pay as well
