Pros
The company is highly focused on culture fit for all new employees, which has led to a great group of people working together - very few huge egos. Work/life balance and willingness to hear employees' thoughts (both via glassdoor and through suggestion boxes and engagement surveys) are great. Opportunities ahead for the company in a growing industry are good. Management seems committed to making the organization better for employees - hiring in under-resourced areas and helping solve internal process challenges. Small company size and willingness of CEO to listen to everyone gives a great opportunity for employees to influence the company's direction.
Cons
There has been a lot of turnover in the past, which has caused some 'tribal knowledge' to go out the door. Some managers are new to management and it shows; flexibility in work schedules is sometimes abused by employees and not really addressed. Company is too slow in making decisions which puts unnecessary time pressure on the work and quality comes only after pain. Some employees don't embrace the role they have in helping the company get better.
