Pros
I have had the privilege of working at eHCM for 4 years, and I can confidently say it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. From day one, the company culture has fostered an environment of collaboration, innovation, and support. Supportive Leadership: The senior leadership team is genuinely invested in the growth and well-being of its employees. They encourage open communication and feedback, ensuring everyone feels valued and heard. This transparency creates a sense of trust that motivates us to perform our best. Independence and Trust: One of the standout features of working here is the level of independence we are given. eHCM fosters an environment where employees are trusted to control their own destinies. This autonomy empowers us to take initiative, make decisions, and drive our projects forward without the constraints of micromanagement. It’s refreshing to know that our leaders believe in our capabilities and support our professional judgment. Work-Life Balance: Another great aspect of working here is the emphasis on work-life balance. The flexibility in our work schedules when needed have significantly enhanced my overall well-being and job satisfaction. In conclusion, I highly recommend eHCM as an employer. It’s a place where you can grow, contribute, and thrive both personally and professionally. I’m grateful to be part of such a fantastic team and look forward to what the future holds!
Cons
Because I am technically a contractor, I do not get vacation because I am not a true employee. I personally do not have an issue with this, because I work enough to cover the days I take off, but it would be nice if they expanded time off to full time contractors in the future. Health benefits are expensive and do not cover much. As a family with high medical needs, the benefits eHCM can currently offer do not cover our needs. For example, I would much prefer paying a higher premium for a copay plan than a HDHP with a high deductible.
